BOOM!

Noonday meals,
So loud with sound,
Family and friends,
All gathered round,
To have fun and holler.
Dreams forgotten,
Nightmares Left,
Our only goal,
On this fine day,
In this fine cleft,
To have fun,
To be merry,
Celebrate,
With air of the ferry,
Traveling to the greatest fairs.

Fireworks,
Great and Small,
Lights pop up,
And we know all,
No fear,
No need for manner,
No need to hold up the banners,
The banners that bind us,
Hide us,
Wish we could defy us,
All disappear in white and black,
Pixilation,
No reason to fear.

But truly,
How the day went,
Happy as we were,
None were really there,
So,
In passing,
We celebrate alone.
