On a day,
Quite the same,
Monopolize monotony.
The rain falls down,
In endless waves,
Giving way to Misery.
I went to a store,
Of specialty,
I thought to perk me up.
When on the ground,
I looked up high,
At the sky,
No monopoly.
I spoke to the shopclerk,
To purchase a potion,
And to brighten my day.
All she offered was,
A little respite,
Peace and something nice,
Only for a dollar's pay.
I was so cheered up,
I left with a thunder,
As heavy as I was that day.
To brighten the sky,
With the light of a sun,
And my Purchase of a Happy Day.
Never forget to be happy, at all, on any day. For when you are happy, you infect all others with the same joy. Some may not appreciate the joy you might try to spread, but by the simple act of being happy, it can brighten their moods. Be discreet though.
"Happiness is like a parasite when you try to spread it, but leave it alone and just let it be, and it is the worlds greatest cure."
