The Sun has brought us many good things, such as photosynthesis, life, light, and even warmth. However it has also brought drought, starvation, and rage. It is a constant reminder of innocence, respect and goodwill lost to those who deserve it and would bring it to others, had not something happened to them, that they have done to others. To others it is a symbol of joy, happiness, liberty, and wealth, and had not those sides opposed one another so rigorously, I would not have had a lot of the inspiration given to me because of it.
To me, and to the followers of En, the Sun is a symbol of taking a side.Gray entities are preferred even though we'd prefera better word for it, because we dont even want to choose a color to represent us.No rainbows, no sunshine, no darkness, no hate. This line we inhabit is constantly at war with itself, as we enjoy the presence of all sides. The ridiculousness of taking meaning in simple acions baffle us, we deal with the complex, as in why do no sides but ours want to accept each other, why must perople fight so vigorously for their beliefs, why and how did love and hate and anger and greed even come about, where did fear come from, how did anyone even think it up, and why do we feel something when we say that word, when there was no reason for it and it didn't exist.
Don't let fear, ignorance, and tyranny conquer your lives, live to except, but not everything, and love thy neigbour as one would love thyself. Even though it's formarilly christian even Zennists have to respect that saying.
Fooled me once foul on you, Fooled me twice foul on me.
Signed
